Description

The Avishkaran Student Fellows program offers motivated high-school students structured exposure to research practices and academic writing. Fellows are selected through a competitive application process and undergo training in research ethics, scientific communication, and the basics of peer review.

What Fellows Do

  • Receive training in research ethics
  • Receive training in academic writing
  • Receive training in review basics
  • Participate in outreach and learning projects
  • Support journal awareness in schools
  • Attend online workshops and seminars
  • Contribute to blogs, webinars, or guides for young researchers

What Fellows Do Not Do

  • Are not responsible for acceptance or rejection of manuscripts
  • Do not perform independent editorial decisions
